In Memoriam: Our Founder Director
Manikketh Venugopal Menon (1947–2018)
Mr. Manikketh Venugopal Menon, a native of Ernakulam who later settled in Thrissur with his family, was a dedicated professional and community leader. He graduated with a degree in Zoology from Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur (then affiliated to Kerala University) in 1969.
He began his career with commercial firms in Mumbai and joined United Bank of India in 1970. Over the years, he served in various capacities across different states in India and earned his JAIIB qualification. He opted for voluntary retirement in 2001, retiring with distinction as Deputy Regional Manager.
Post-retirement, Mr. Menon continued his professional contributions as the full-time Director of M/s Avanzo Cyber Security Solutions Pvt. Ltd. He also served as a Trustee of the Avanzo Charitable Trust, actively engaging in social service and philanthropic work. He was also the founder and trustee of Saalabhanjika Studio for Arts and Performances, an institution deeply routed to art and culture.
A highly respected figure in his community, he was the Treasurer and an active member of the Sree Thrikkulasekharapuram Kshethra Kshema Sangham, Annakara. His unwavering commitment, integrity, and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Mr. Menon passed away on May 20, 2018. His legacy continues to inspire and guide our values and mission.
